In Mosketch, Up and Down influence provide a fast way to parameterize IK and sketching, and serve as a quick selection for many common functions (copy/paste, mirroring, keying, etc).


IMPORTANT NOTE: shortcuts mentioned in this video may be different from actual ones.

 With one or several joints selected, you can quickly define:

  • which parent joints are going to move to achieve specified constraints using Up influence
  • which children joints are going to move using Down influence means which children joints are going to move..

For example, if the left knee joint has an influence zone going up to the hip, and down to the ankle, then only the knee joint is going to move.
